Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH)

The Year 2010 will mark the much-awaited completion of the new Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH) in Yishun. A new-generation hospital up north, KTPH will be a progressive hospital with state-of-the-art features that delivers prompt and patient-centric services to the customer.

Alexandra Health Private Limited (AHPL)

Health Minister Mr Khaw Boon Wan announced the appointment of the AHPL Board at a "Healthy Community Up North" event on 7 October 2007. Comprising captains of industry from a variety of sectors such as hospitality, technology and finance, the Board has been guiding the strategic direction of Alexandra Hospital and KTPH.

"We made some effort to scout around... and we looked for talent from different sectors. The idea is to stretch their imagination. We would like to get them to... think out of the box... "said Mr Khaw.

Led by President and Chief Corporate Officer (CCO) of CapitaLand Limited Jennie Chua, the AHPL Board has a three-year tenure.

Ms Jennie Chua welcomes the diversity: "The Board comprises many private sector people from different disciplines, backgrounds and experience. So there’s a lot of value the board can bring to the management."
